
Due Diligence Project Manager
Los Angeles - Currently Remote
Position Purpose
The purpose of the position of Project Manager is to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, report and oversight of Phase I projects, report preparation within the Due Diligence Department, manage and coordinate services on projects, manage and coordinate personnel and subcontractors performing services on projects, and pursue business development opportunities with new clients.
Responsibilities
· Expert knowledge and understanding of current ASTM and AAI standards for Phase I Site assessments, Transaction Screen Assessments and Vapor Encroachment Screening
· Prepare technical reports (Phase I ESA’s, TSA’s, etc.)
· Experience with lender driven Phase II desirable
· Perform site inspections related to the preparation of technical reports
· Review project billing, expenses, and submit to accounting
· Look for ways to make processes more efficient and cost effective
· Oversee Project Scheduling – coordination between client, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors Attend industry and professional meetings and organizations
· When necessary, secure and negotiate with subcontractors to perform services with company
· Maintain ongoing relationships with vendors and clients, and prospects
· Maintain a positive work atmosphere
· Take sales calls and provide details including proposal pricing and turnaround time to project coordinator to prepare project proposals
· Fully comprehend clients’ needs/issues
· Actively market and seek business development opportunities with new clients to promote company services
· Actively identify clients/leads and perform outbound sales calls
· Scout new opportunities (clients, projects, etc.)
· Present company and its services by public speaking, creating PowerPoint and other means of presentation
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor of Science Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
· 40-Hour HAZWOPER Trained
Experience Requirements
· Minimum of 4 years in the specialty field of Phase I Due Diligence. Inclusive of a minimum of two years of experience of technical report review.
