Various openings for

Mid-Level - Principal Planners

Southern California - Hybrid of remote work and on-site work

We have opportunities for Mid-Level to Principal/Group Manager level Environmental Planners to join an employee-owned firm that has been around for more than 30 years. We have around 200 people between 7 offices throughout California.

We provide a broad range of environmental and design services throughout CA and the western US. We work with an equal mix of private and public clients, and have very interesting, meaningful and diverse set of projects/sectors for you to work on in a collaborative environment.

Our main goal is to bring in someone that is a great culture fit, and who values a family first attitude and work/life balance. We also focus a lot on employee development, and internal growth – everyone on the executive team has started at a lower position, one even started as an intern!

We are very oriented to a 40/hour work week and take measures to ensure people aren’t over working themselves and have the resources and support they need to be successful.

For the Group Manager/Principal Planner role we are looking for someone who is passionate about their work, interested in growing a group, helping guide where it goes, enjoys being involved in business development, and likes mentoring staff. This person will have a lot of freedom and flexibility, but also support - our team culture is rooted in collaboration and communication.

Mid-Level - Senior Planners we have a space for you too! Please reach out on LinkedIn or send a message to jowens@matixsearch.com for more information.
