
Senior Engineer Project Manager
San Diego or San Francisco - Currently Remote
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Environmental Risk Management (ERM) Practice and can be based in San Diego or either of our San Francisco offices. We are a full service consulting firm working with Non-Profits, Biopharma, Colleges, Major Petroleum Retailers, Hospitals, Private Developers, State/Federal Agencies, Industrial Facilities, Insurance Companies, Real Estate Companies, Homeowners, Financial Institutions, and Fortune 500 companies. This Role Might Be For You If You Have The Following:
7-10+ plus years of increasingly responsible experience in preparation of engineering calculations, Construction Specifications Institute (CSA) bid specifications, and drawings for remediation projects involving soil excavation, dewatering and treatment, capping, subsurface and indoor air quality systems, and/or sediment removal in the San Francisco Bay area and statewide.
A BS/MS in Environmental or Civil Engineering with a PE license in California is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong personal motivation, and teamwork ability are essential, as is effective interface with regulators and clients.
Project Management, including staff management, schedules, budgets, and client interfacing experience.
The ideal candidate would also have experience with:
Complex hydrogeologic investigation and remedial action projects.
Engineering feasibility studies and corrective action plans.
Human health and ecological risk assessments in accordance with CA and US EPA protocols.
Vapor intrusion assessments and mitigation (including subsurface depressurization systems).
In situ soil and groundwater remediation technologies for both petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and other constituents of environmental concern.
Integrated closure strategies for commercial/industrial and other client sites.
Strong understanding of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 health and safety requirements.
